We're experiencing our third snowfall of the winter today, reducing the world to monochrome. Each snow event has been of lessening intensity. An hour after these pictures were taken the snow was already gone.
How interesting....you really have to look to make sure that they aren't black and white photos. What a great contrast to how colorful the landscape must look in the summer.
Now that's a snowfall I could get onboard with! Falls and melts within an hour. I definitely need to move. :-) Very beautiful photos Sweet Bay. Your garden looks good covered in white.
Your photos look exactly like what i see right now out my doors Sweet bay. I guess you all have been getting more than you ever do this year. It is very pretty isn't it ... and yours will be gone very soon!
Pretty while it lasted!!

ReplyDeleteAu revoir l'hiver!
ReplyDeleteThey look like big snow flakes in the last photo.
How beautifully you caught the falling snow! It does look like a black-and-white world.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is my kind of snow. Like the one we had, here today, gone tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteSweetbay,
ReplyDeleteWe had slight flurries today nothing stuck to the ground. Would have been our fourth snow event.
Randy we missed out on the first snow. This was part of a small cell that passed over Wake and Johnston Counties. Every trace is gone now.
ReplyDeleteOh, oh, I really love the last pic with the snow falling in front of the large trees. Beautiful pics!
ReplyDeleteWe had big fat flakes around midnight for about 5 minutes -- then nothing. Suits me.

ReplyDeleteI live in a black and white world December through March, and still I enjoyed these photos.
