The World in Black and White

We're experiencing our third snowfall of the winter today, reducing the world to monochrome. Each snow event has been of lessening intensity. An hour after these pictures were taken the snow was already gone.

  1. How interesting....you really have to look to make sure that they aren't black and white photos. What a great contrast to how colorful the landscape must look in the summer.

They look like big snow flakes in the last photo.

  5. Sweetbay,
We had slight flurries today nothing stuck to the ground. Would have been our fourth snow event.

  6. Randy we missed out on the first snow. This was part of a small cell that passed over Wake and Johnston Counties. Every trace is gone now.

  8. We had big fat flakes around midnight for about 5 minutes -- then nothing. Suits me.

  9. Now that's a snowfall I could get onboard with! Falls and melts within an hour. I definitely need to move. :-) Very beautiful photos Sweet Bay. Your garden looks good covered in white.
