This is a wonderful snow picture! Unfortunately, we didn't get any here in north Mississippi. I wanted to see us get 4 or 5 inches. It looks so pretty covering the landscape!
Looks like you got a little more than we did. I can tell you that I will be very glad when this winter is over, and I can start enjoying the mild southern winter we are used to. I am anxious to see camellias in colors other than brown.
It's lovely, Sweetbay...I hope you all enjoy it;-) I know you'll be happy to get your warm weather back! (As will I--although, ours is never as nice as yours in the winter). Usually, that is! Take care;-)
Really pretty snowy picture. I love the dark blue sky, with promises of more snow. It seems as we have more snow here in South of Sweden though, about 2 feet (and more is to come). It's the first winter in more than 20 years that we have this much snow, and for so long. It's nice, but I long for spring now....
Snowy and windy days at your place I see. Winter finally arrived I guess. The snow decorates your landscape, like your picture, but I feel sorry for your roof and fence.. But, Spring will come and make life easier again :)
At least you didn't get buried, right? My Aunt & Uncle just sent pics of the 4 to 5 inches they got in Myrtle Beach, SC!!! I was so surprised. This has been a winter to remember for much of the country. Is it all melted now?

ReplyDeleteYay! (I hope it's a yay!)
ReplyDeleteHi, hope you are having a wonderful snowy day. Yes, we do have two horses, two goats, and three dogs. Feeding at our house can be a job!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful view you have! The snow makes it even more prettier.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy Valentine's Day!
Lieve groet, Madelief
Very pretty! Your pines look lovely with a dusting of the white stuff.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a sweet Valentines!

ReplyDeleteWe New Englanders have to log on to your southern blogs to get our fix of snow. We have so little, you have so much and it's lovely!
ReplyDeleteWe just got a dusting today...which quickly disappeared. Your photo is very nice. Picture postcard.
ReplyDeleteThat was a nice light dusting of snow. Pretty soon spring will be here and your gardens will be bursting forth in a glorious riot of color.
ReplyDeleteI thing the highest we got up to today was 55. So, it was a cold day for us down here where the tropics begin.
Have a lovely Valentine's day.

ReplyDeleteKathleen, SC got a lot more than we did. I think we got 2-3", and most of it was gone by the end of the day.
ReplyDeleteYou are melting my heart with these adorable bluebirds. I am a sucker for any bird, though.

What a beautiful photograph! Will you frame it?
ReplyDeleteThe white on the tree branches looks lovely against the threatening gray sky. It looks like more snow is on the way!
ReplyDeleteThank you SG. :) I hadn't thought of that yet, but I will earmark it for next year's calendar. I've been thinking about framing some pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhy does someone else's snow always look prettier? Oh, I know. Because I don't have to shovel it:)
ReplyDeleteYour country living is so appealing to me.
