You know what you do when the weather sucks, if you're smart (and kind of lazy)?
You get on the heating pad, heat up to a toasty 250 degrees F, and take a nap.
Or if you have a good fur coat and don't need a heating pad, you can still dream
of days like this, when you can lay out in the warm sun.
It's supposed to be in the 50's and sunny for the next few days. Hallelujah.
What great pictures! We all love the warmth of sunshine on a chilly day, or the warmth of a heating pad indoors. Aaaahhh! Everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves, whether in dreamland or awake.

From snow this morning and possibly tomorrow as well, to warm 60 degrees days next week. How mixed up will the plants be??
ReplyDeleteYour kitties look like they know how important naps are.
Hahaha, they seem lonely also during winter. It is good for the cats as they seem sleeping all the time. Do you know that they need 16 hours of sleep per day! That's what i just read.
ReplyDeleteOur weather has been crazy lately, hasn't it? I've been a lot like your cats this week. Animals are so smart, aren't they? Enjoy the pretty weather over the next few days.
ReplyDeleteA heating pad?? Now, these are some pampered cats:) I love all these photos, Sweet Bay! I keep telling myself I should take a cue from my cats and just chill out for awhile...well, actually, I do take a catnap quite often. But I don't need the heating pad:) 50 degrees sounds like heaven right now!
ReplyDeleteEverybody looks so content. I can tell the horses are smiling :-)
ReplyDeleteHi SB~~ A girl after my own heart--a cat person!! Delightful photos. There is something about a sleeping cat that just warms my heart.
ReplyDeleteMy fingers are crossed that you'll be basking in sunshine and warmth.
Smart and spoiled critters here. I'm celebrating nicer weather with you!
ReplyDeleteHallelujah....Isn't that a perfect word for how we feel about the warmer days showing up...in the meantime a heating pad is perfect~Your critters are a delight to see~gail
ReplyDeleteI don't think that anything compares with how it feels to soak up the warmth from the sun into your bones :^)
ReplyDeleteWhen my lower back bothers me, I sleep with the heating pad under me set at low. Once I had to get up int he night and when I crawled back into bed int he dark there were two loud screams--one from Fiona, who had moved to the pad when I got up and now was sitting on, and one from me out of surprise! Here she is, without he bothering her.
ReplyDeletelol, Monica. Fiona looks like she's thinking "The heating pad is mine."
ReplyDeleteThose are some smart cats to take advantage of the heating pads! I hope your weather is just as good as predicted and you can all feel a little sun on you.
ReplyDeleteA heating pad in the sun sounds like the perfect combination to me!! Smart kitties.
ReplyDeleteWe had three days of 50+ degree weather and it was heavenly. Now it's back to cold, cloudy & snowing. bleck.
That is Fabulous Sweetbay! I hope the weather has remained warm for you. So sweet you give your kitties a heating pad! Joyful to see your horses!! Looks like everyone is enjoying the sun! ;>)
ReplyDeleteWhat a life for your feline friends! Your horses look happy out there.
ReplyDeleteWe hadn't had 50 since Dec. 1, and now, saw it yesterday and today. Tomorrow, it's supposed to rain. I hope the snow melts soon!
