Blooming Friday ~ April 1st, 2010

Spring is here in full force. In the past week even the fields that were brown are now pale green and the daffodils and redbuds are blooming. Tomorrow it's actually going to be hot -- almost 90 degrees F.

Many thanks to Katarina at roses and stuff for hosting Blooming Friday. It has been fun!

  7. Beautiful pictures of the plums! I've wondered how you're doing waterwise. I've seen some pretty high water in my trip to and from work.

  9. We've also had some very warm days and all the bulbs have bloomed, even daffodils! I love that Chickahaw plum... I like the blooms on my prunus x cistena, but they're a bit out. Happy Easter!

  11. Hot????? How can that be? Here we are barely reaching 50 and the WIND blowing a gale. ugh. I almost dislike wind as much as snow. We got rid of the last one but now the wind has replaced it. I'm not sure I'd be ready for 90?? I can't wait for 70 & 80 tho. Will those come back for you or is the heat there to stay?
Beautiful plum & serviceberry photos. I love that light green hue that shows up in spring. I'm sure it's just beautiful there. Happy Easter to you and your family and good to "see" you again.

  15. Love all your blossoms! The heat is kind of amazing right now and I could live without the humidity. Still...it's spring so I'm thankful.

90 degrees? It was something like 77 degrees here last Friday. Hello, summer.
