Continuing with a look back, here is a video with images from spring of last year. If you have trouble loading the video, let me know -- it's the longest of the four.

  3. Your spring flowers are amazing, and you have such great variety. Love the ones blooming around the arbor. And of course I like seeing the busy honey bees at work.

  4. Yours is one of the most romantic gardens I've ever seen. The arbor swathed in roses, the whispy Baptisia and other plantings punctuated with the abundant bearded iris. The trees are the perfect backdrop. Your house looks romantic too. What a treat, SB!!

  5. How very beautiful - I even had Bob come and look.
Everytime I see pictures of your property I think you live in dreamland. LOL
Your flowers are gorgeous and the variety is great.
I think I've missed some real treats as I haven't been on the computer much the last few days and you say there are 3 more videos?

  6. Very beautiful Photos! I hit the full screen button and was able to view the larger images. How lush and colorful when juxtaposed to my bleak garden just outside. Spring cannot come soon enough this year. Lovely to see your wondrous world there Sweetbay! ;) Carol

  7. Your pictures are beautiful. Your farm is beautiful year round. I hope to get some photos this afternoon. It's snowing pretty hard so everything will be fresh and white.

  8. Thank you for a lovely reminder of what's coming after all this cold weather we have. I didn't got to see the last 30 minuits, it stopped at 4:53, but what I got to see was beautiful :)

  9. What a clever idea. Your flowers are lovely and escaping into a Carolina springtime (when it is snowing here) was quite a treat! Thank you for commenting on my blog. I've added you to my goodies list and look forward to visiting often!

  13. It's nice to see blooming flowers... just as therapeutic as those SAD lamps! Though because we have snow, it's actually pretty bright. I put the tall coreopsis seeds in the mail to you yesterday (Fri) so they should arrive in a few days!

  14. And rightly so it should be long-such beauty! Your house looks most comfy in its setting too. Just like a country cottage.

  17. I picked the perfect day to savor this video Sweet Bay ~ now I'm really ready for spring! Although, your spring looks like our early summer! It's late when the iris, peonies and roses start blooming here. I love your arbor covered in roses. I wish I would have done that with mine but the hummingbirds like the honeysuckle so I guess it's okay. I really like that dark columbine too ~ I want to start some different varieties this year. Sometimes I don't think I can make it thru another Colorado winter ~ but some years are milder than others and that keeps me going. This year is definitely not one of those mild years! Now I'm going to watch your summer video and that will really get me into wishful dreaming mode...
