Lovely photos of redbuds and bees. Not many butterflies on our redbuds this year, the weather has been either too wet or not warm enough. Our redbuds will be spent in a few days it looks.
Here's another one who has to check if this gorgeous shrub would like it here in Sweden. haven't seen it before - it's gorgeous! Have a lovely weekend! Katarina
Hi Sweetbay, what wonderful captures! I never thought about the lady slipper bottom of the flower, it takes a photo to see that sort of thing for my poor eyesight, thanks. Growing up in Oklahoma, this is the state tree there, we used to eat the flowers from these plentiful trees, they are sweet, but watch out for the buzzers! :-) Frances

Pretty blooms and bees!
ReplyDeleteIt bodes well for lots of seeds this fall!
ReplyDeleteThat is one gorgeous Redbud and anything that brings in that many bees is good in my book. I need to look that one up as well.
