I always love looking at the pictures of your gardens. You have so many wonderful plants blooming at every season of the garden. The irises are so pretty. It well not be long now until they are blooming again and I can hardly wait to see how many of mine will bloom this spring.

ReplyDeleteAll the whites in the garden look bright and cheery. I too have a orange cat in the garden. It's nice to have her follow me around and veg while I'm working in the beds. Now if only she'd stop trying to turn sections of it into her litter box, the pill.

ReplyDeleteWonderful spring flowers to look forward to! And your kitty looks like he thinks he owns the place (Does he? ) I always sigh a bit over your lush gardens. You have combined the swaths of color with the expertise of an artist, though I think gardening as an art is surely more challenging than painting on a canvas!

Hey stay away from Pine Knot, we got more than 7 hellebores, a Daphne, a edgeworthia and 2 hardy spring cyclamens knocked off 2 bills there. If you want to go there you need to call first of go during their festival, next Friday and Saturday are it for this year..
Sweetbay, I love your irises. They look so regal, and so does your great orange cat. We have a tabby, and she is now older and frightened of outside. Poor dear. It was nice to see your breath of spring. It's nearly here.~~Dee
ReplyDeleteSpring is tip toeing in here. I have a few crocus in bloom and clematis buds are swelling. Are you sure that's your beautiful garden? I think it's the cat's garden and he just shares it with you. :o)
ReplyDeleteOne more thing - you'll love bronze fennel. It attracts anise swallowtail caterpillars as well as lots of other beneficial insects. It's a keeper. It grow it every year.

ReplyDeleteI like your suggestion for simple garden improvement; the inclusion of an orange cat. Of course things are bound to be more beautiful when there is such a handsome creature to oversee all the work. The shot of the white and purple iris made me stop in my tracks. Stunning!
