What great pictures. I haven't seen bees around much lately. I'm adding these asters to my list and seeing if they would grow here. They are so pretty.
Sweet Bay ~ you always amaze me with your photos. These are so pretty. I think your bee ~ hover fly(???) looks like the same one I found recently?? Although, if it is, I'm sure yours is much happier with more flowers to visit!
Seeing your bees so close is fantastic! I feel as if I am right there and can almost hear their wings. Rain and cold at my house...no bees today! So enjoyed catching up with you this morning. Happy New Moon! Sherry
We've been plagued with asian hornets over here. They were introduced to SW France by accident about 6 years ago and now there are millions. So many hover over the grapes on the vines that its practically a no go area in mild weather at this time of year
Hi Sweet Bay, I am in love with your bee shots and the aster! So clear, I feel like a bee voyeur. And in your bloom day post, Clotilde won my heart as well as Bessie. Just love all around! :-) Frances
