When I think of your gardens, I always see rich and subtle shades of purple. Your candy colored irises, and now your smoky baptisias are so beautiful... you make purple look so wonderful.
You are so right - it is like Christmas (and lasts a little longer). Your garden is gorgeous, thanks for the beautiful pictures! I love the look of Hansa with baptisia - that's the look I am trying to achieve by planting salvias and penstemon with my roses :).
You have shown some of my favorite flowers. I love baptisia. 'Hansa' is my favorite rugosa rose. Mine lost a huge trunk last year so it is in recovery mode.
WOW!! How beautiful!!! I added a baptisia to my garden after seeing how beautiful they are in yours!! :o) It's a 'Twilight Prairie Blues'. It's tiny but already so pretty. :o)
After days of hot humid weather, today was spring again: perfectly clear, pleasantly cool, with low humidity. It is indeed the most wonderful time of year. Your garden is a refreshment to the eyes and soul. Gorgeous!
Your garden is looking just beautiful. The third picture in is my favourite- the sunlight on the baptisia with the pink hansa roses in the background is magical.
Wow. I just love your garden beds. You have so much going on in them.Your rose is gorgeous! I do not have any Baptisia and I need to try it. Have a wonderful week.
