The theme for this week's Blooming Friday is "against the light". My pictures may be more accurately described as bathed in light rather than against the light. My backlit shots usually end up looking murky.

ReplyDeleteYour daylily positively glows in the light, Sweetbay! The rosy iris is so pretty, too--I don't think I've ever seen one that color.

ReplyDeleteI wish someone knew the name of those beautiful pink iris too ~ I want some!!! Just gorgeous. Were these from earlier in the year or are they a reblooming variety?? I've often wanted to try a rebloomer but haven't ever added any to my garden.

ReplyDeleteplants enhancing your autumn. The grasses, wildflowers and colourful leaves all are very special. Beautiful, graceful irises like a dream. The horse fennel looks also interesting. I like those sort of plants very much. Love the blue asters, some I can grow here and I am very pleased about it.
