I have been contemplating taking a break from blogging ever since the spring season began and have now decided to go ahead and do so. There's too much to do and too little time to do it, and something had to give.
sweet bay - I will miss your blogging! Your garden is GORGEOUS! Sometimes I think about stopping blogging, too, because there is SO much to do. I hope you won't stop blogging forever, though! :)
I can relate, you sound down. We all can waste alot of productive time on these blogs can't we ? Will miss your posts, but can understand completely. have a great Summertime ! Gina
aw, I just started following you. I can understand having too much to do though. Hope you come back soon, I want more local hookups on nice roses to start cuttings from ;)
Sweetbay, I shall miss glimpses of your beautiful garden while you are offline, but I know when I think of your garden you are probably actually in it instead of on the computer. ;-)
I'm relieved to hear you're okay and understand completely. Hopefully there will be time for a visit in the not so distant future? Until then I shall imagine how beautiful your garden must be every time I see one of your plants in mine:)
I'll miss all your beautiful photos, Sweet Bay, but I do understand. It's hard to keep up with blogging when there is so much to do outside right now. Enjoy your garden!
I"m right there with you SweetBay. I think everyone understands. I still try to put up a post every now and then, but it's hard to find time to read. -- Randy
I feel the same way and in fact just did a post after 2 weeks. I'll think of you every time I look at my 3 Yarrows that are growing so beautifully. In fact I already do and they are getting ready to bloom. I also think of you when I see the field full of horses down the road. LOL
I wondered where you were. Totally get it tho. Enjoy the time off and come back soon. I'll miss you, your thoughtful comments and your terrific photos but completely understand!
Whew, I am so glad to hear it--in the sense that I don't feel like a total heel for not having been commenting. I totally feel what you're saying, though I always enjoy your posts. BTW, I gave one of the Rosa setigera seedlings Linda, Garden Girl, in IL. Mine are looking good, too. Soon, they will take over the Midwest, lol! :)
Been so busy here I'd not seen your posts, now i know. Have fun and do stay cool, yeah right in NC. That Zebrine Banana I got a few months ago is now 4 foot tall and stunning!
Dear Sweet Bay ~ I know exactly what you mean. You will be sorely missed. Have a nice time doing things that need to be taken care of.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about maybe blogging only once a week. Blogging can and does take up too much time in our every day lives.

Good for you! Enjoy your garden and come back when you have spare time! Happy gardening, Sweet Bay!

I'm not posting very often either and only have time to read a couple blogs a day.
