I find it ironic that the pollen plague hits us every year, just about the time I get the urge to do the spring cleaning on the porch and deck. Your photos make me want to sneeze. Connie
Hello Sweetbay, we go through the same thing; about a month ago the air was thick as the wind blew it from the evergreens. Now we have had unending rain for nearly a week; hopefully most of that is gone but will be replaced by grass pollens by May and June (I'm allergic).. hope you are not.
Pollen isn't a problem here, at least not yet. We had five inches of snow this morning. Wet snow that's clinging to everything and dare I say...looking beautiful. Won't last long as temps are going back to the 60's for the weekend.
We are covered up with yellow/green pollen here, too! Our neighbor has lots of pine trees so it's everywhere! I'll be glad when this stage of spring is past!
The cars, the house, my clothes and shoes, the patio furniture - we are yellow dusted too! I'm glad i don't have allergies. Your hose photo is really cute!
True, definitively :)
ReplyDeleteSecond post I've read about pollen this morning...everything has a tint of yellow to it right now.
ReplyDeleteWow, I just saw pictures from GA and seeing yours too, I'm amazed at all of the pollen.
ReplyDeleteHappy Gardening in spite of the pollen.

Yep. It's awful this year. No rain hasn't helped. Maybe we'll all get a bath today.
ReplyDeleteYep...exactly like that here...'cept for the beautiful horse! gail
ReplyDeleteIt is bad this year and oh yes, perfect pic of the issue. Beautiful horse!
ReplyDeleteSweetBay,
ReplyDeleteBad yeer for pollen no question. Much worse where there is lots of pines which we have very little of.
We are right there with ya! I am just waiting for rain so that I can wash my car and clean my porch and outdoor furniture. Carla
ReplyDeleteLove this. Hopefully you're not sneezing and wheezing? That stuff gets to me rather easily.
ReplyDeleteI've heard others mention how bad the pollen is this year. Glad I'm not there, my allergies would be miserable.

ReplyDeleteI just heard on the news about the high pollen counts. One downside of Spring is all that pollen.

ReplyDeleteOh my! Cutest horse ever, though!! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a LOT of pollen SB! It must be a bumper crop because we've been hearing about it on the nightly news here.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I saw a guy on the news brushing off all of the pollen from his car. It is amazing that there is so much.
ReplyDeleteOh.. pollen everywhere, flowers are shooting pollen in chorus, all at the same time. But what are they celebrating?... A delayed Spring? ~bangchik
ReplyDeleteI am sure glad I am not bothered by this.
