Blooming Friday

We have had a deliciously warm week in central NC and the honeybees
have been buzzing around the First Breath of Spring like mad.

It's so wonderful to see all of this life in the garden again!

Thanks to Katarina at roses and stuff for hosting Blooming Friday.

  8. Your pictures really bring back summer! I'll take them with me now, when I'm just about to go out in a drearily foggy English March morning...

  15. Thank you everyone for your comments. I appreciate all of them.

Tina the bees are a wonderful sight after winter. The Honeybees, Carpenters, and Bumbles are out and they just love that Winter Honeysuckle.

Anna, we are paying for the nice weather now. Back to the cold rain of 2 weeks ago. Gail wrote that she was being pelted by ice yesterday, and sleet in W-S -- I will join in the chorus of boos and hisses. lol Ah well. Spring is fickle -- it's part of her charm.

  16. How have I missed your blog. Great photos from a neighbor. You likely could have seen a Falcate Orangetip it would be the only white butterfly flying close to the ground with orangetips (male only).

  20. Hi Lareine and Linda, and thank you for your kind comments. We're paying for our wonderful weather now, with cold rain this weekend, but the warmth will be back. It was nice to be able to get out in the garden in short sleeves last week.
