What a lovely garden.....Have a nice wekend.Lotta
Exceptional photos. Beautiful spring colours. That looks a bit like one of our cats ....isn't he handsome!
Love all the irises & roses in your garden!
Your Amsonia is so large!! I planted two Baptistas last year, hoping they grow to be as lovely as yours. The Irises are gorgeous.
Very pretty - warms my heart for here it has finally decided to snow!
It seems that your garden is made of mother Earth! Beautiful pictures, lovely colours!
Beautiful blooms as always. I would just love to meander around your place taking it all in, but this is the next best thing, sitting right here enjoying through your blog.Have a great weekend ~ FlowerLady
Beautiful photos of all those lovely irises.Fantasic colours.Have a great weekendGunilla
I always love looking at the pictures of your gardens. You have so many wonderful plants blooming at every season of the garden. The irises are so pretty. It well not be long now until they are blooming again and I can hardly wait to see how many of mine will bloom this spring.
Lovley irises and a´very nice garden you show us. Have a´nice evening and enjoy your life. / Pia
Every picture is beautiful. The cat is looking good, too.
Sigh! I longingly look upon these lovely, lush images Sweetbay. Wonderful colors and textures. Gorgeous!
All the whites in the garden look bright and cheery. I too have a orange cat in the garden. It's nice to have her follow me around and veg while I'm working in the beds. Now if only she'd stop trying to turn sections of it into her litter box, the pill.
Oh yes on the handsome orange cat! I'd love to reach out and pet him. Such a great addition to your beautiful garden!
Wonderful spring flowers to look forward to! And your kitty looks like he thinks he owns the place (Does he? ) I always sigh a bit over your lush gardens. You have combined the swaths of color with the expertise of an artist, though I think gardening as an art is surely more challenging than painting on a canvas!
Sweetbay,I don't know why, but this is the second time your comments to me have ended up in the spam box, no reason I can see either. Is blogger doing this to your comments at other blogs? Hey stay away from Pine Knot, we got more than 7 hellebores, a Daphne, a edgeworthia and 2 hardy spring cyclamens knocked off 2 bills there. If you want to go there you need to call first of go during their festival, next Friday and Saturday are it for this year..
Sweetbay, I love your irises. They look so regal, and so does your great orange cat. We have a tabby, and she is now older and frightened of outside. Poor dear. It was nice to see your breath of spring. It's nearly here.~~Dee
Spring is tip toeing in here. I have a few crocus in bloom and clematis buds are swelling. Are you sure that's your beautiful garden? I think it's the cat's garden and he just shares it with you. :o)
One more thing - you'll love bronze fennel. It attracts anise swallowtail caterpillars as well as lots of other beneficial insects. It's a keeper. It grow it every year.
Your garden is beautiful. I could sit for hours there and read a book. And the orange kitty looks like one happy camper:)
Beautiful. Spring is in the air now.
Lovely pictures and the cat just knows it is the star of the show!
Just lovely. I looked closely to see what was blooming with your irises - my irises bloom very early, and all alone. :( I need to remedy that. Thanks for some ideas!
I like your suggestion for simple garden improvement; the inclusion of an orange cat. Of course things are bound to be more beautiful when there is such a handsome creature to oversee all the work. The shot of the white and purple iris made me stop in my tracks. Stunning!
: ) Your cat is certainly embellishing your garden! Your Irises are such majestic, beautiful flowers and you've captured them perfectly!
