Camera Critters -- Aromatic Aster and Honeybees


The aromatic aster is nearly finished now, but the honeybees enjoyed the ones that were left last week.

  17. Sweet Bay ~ you always amaze me with your photos. These are so pretty. I think your bee ~ hover fly(???) looks like the same one I found recently?? Although, if it is, I'm sure yours is much happier with more flowers to visit!

  20. Always great photos.

    We've been plagued with asian hornets over here. They were introduced to SW France by accident about 6 years ago and now there are millions. So many hover over the grapes on the vines that its practically a no go area in mild weather at this time of year
