All of the insects really seize on that opportunity. Miss Bessie does bloom late -- starting around Halloween here -- and can handle frosts but typically the flowers are done here before it gets below 25.

Hi Sue! I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. It's nice that fall lasts so long here -- makes up for sweating all summer. lolsweetbayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06248743114944736346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3944937432345427996.post-4791032052584890382008-11-24T19:06:00.000-05:002008-11-24T19:06:00.000-05:00I enjoyed clicking on the pics to see them larger....I enjoyed clicking on the pics to see them larger. I'll bet walking thru that area, bees and butterflies are flitting all around.

I'd like to try Miss Bessie, but I think she blooms to late for my cold climate.
MarnieRoses and Lilacshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07121676379580186489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3944937432345427996.post-2884082244616489472008-11-24T11:51:00.000-05:002008-11-24T11:51:00.000-05:00Love your asters!
