I don't have feeders set up and my binoculars (the 4th set in 20 years -- I tend to go through them) are useless, so it's difficult to get a good count from the house.<br /><br />Lillabeth the P. mume is everlasting this year!<br /><br />littlewing -- yes, finally a dry and relatively warm spell of weather. :)<br /><br />Marnie, the normal bloom time for this tree in my area is anywhere from Dec. to Feb. When it's warm enough for the flowers to open up it's also warm enough for the bees to come out, although freezes often catch the flowers before they can set fruit.<br /><br />Madelief I have brought cut branches inside, when I was afraid that cold would cut down even the buds. (So far in 6 or so years that has not yet happened.)
